Thin and soft sensors used in Guardian Connect systems measure the concentration of glucose in the interstitial fluid under the skin. You can check your blood sugar information in real time because the 24-hour blood sugar information is sent wirelessly to your smartphone every 5 minutes.

The Guardian Connect application allows you to check your recent blood glucose history, blood glucose patterns during sleep, sensor and transmitter information, and more. You can also receive alarms with customizable settings such as high blood sugar and low blood sugar alerts.

The Guardian Connect application stores your blood sugar information in your CareLink ™ Personal account, allowing you to share your blood sugar information with your family in real time via an Internet website. You can receive a blood sugar-related text message alarm, such as blood sugar that is out of the target blood sugar.

The Guardian Connect transmitter and sensor are required to use the Guardian Connect system.
