Dear colleagues:

We are pleased to welcome you to the fourteenth edition of Oncology Congress for Students. This edition of the congress will be held on 22,23 and 24 February 2018 under the title "Approaching cancer in the 21st century". It will be held in the Auditorium Building Libraries of the University of Navarra.

The Organizing Committee has worked hard to create an academic and cultural program as a framework for learning, exchanging ideas and developing collaborative opportunities to continue our work of disseminating information. Congress is aimed at students interested in sharing knowledge and experience in the field of oncology.

XIV COE aims to highlight the latest knowledge and be at the forefront for successful interdisciplinary approach to cancer. From the organizing committee we strive for excellence in the development of this event.

Congress is recognized by the Ministry of Health, the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology (SEOM), and the Government of Navarra.

It is therefore an organized entirely by and for students of health sciences courses offered you to improve your communication skills, and develop your scientific skills in a professional context of international excellence Congress.

PROGRAM

This year the scientific program includes keynote presentations given by international specialists related to the conference theme; Parallel to all conference participants seminars; a round table addressed by professionals from various fields and discussions of controversial issues in oncology among students. Finally, the work done by the students, which will be presented as oral communication or poster.

 

The work done by students may be linked to the conference theme or any other related cancer. The official languages ​​of the conference are Spanish and English.

They may participate as listeners all students from the third year of their grade. For the presentation of papers and participation in discussions you will need to be in second cycle.

ACTIVITIES

The scientific program will be complemented by a series of cultural activities that allow us to share positive emotions with colleagues: Welcome cocktail, lunch and dinner congressmen, cultural visits to landmarks of Navarra and Gala Dinner at the Castillo de Gorraiz restaurant many surprises that will strengthen emotional ties.

The Organizing Committee is preparing all these activities with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm to live up to previous editions. They look forward and hope you enjoy all the activities.
