His name: Sheikh Abdul Hamid, the son of Sheikh Mansour Al Marhoun.

Birth: 28/12/1348 AH.

He learned to read and write by his two good brothers: Hajj Sheikh Saeed, and Al-Hajj Muhammad, who died on 15/2/1429 AH.

He learned the rhetoric by his brother Sheikh Abdul Azim Al-Marhoon (died 13/1/1424 AH), then continued his scientific studies by his brother, the scholar Sheikh Ali Al-Marhoon, then by the argument Sheikh Faraj Al-Omran (died 22/3/1998).

The author is one of the notables of the Qatif region, and one of the most prominent contemporary speeches who have done a lot at the level of cultural and educational arena, and who provided many social services.

He founded the Charitable Society in Umm Al-Hamam and many of its activities. He is one of the agents of some religious authorities.

He is still the spiritual father of the people of his community and the imam of the mosque of his mosque in his country, Umm al-Hamam
