Merci Max is a network of local collectives (at the city or district level), led by active retirees or future retirees, nicknamed the “Max”. Their mission is to make your life easier while helping to make the world a better place.

The main objectives of Merci Max are:

- Facilitate and secure exchanges of services between individuals, by allowing residents to help each other on a daily basis in a safe and caring environment.
- Promote and distribute the services of companies with a social and environmental impact, by supporting local companies with a social or ecological mission, thus strengthening the local economy through sustainable and supportive practices.
- Recreate intergenerational social bonds, by organizing activities that bring generations together around workshops and community events to strengthen social cohesion, particularly in the 17th arrondissement.
- Carry out a collective approach to sustainable development, with particular emphasis on social entrepreneurship, promoting the creation and support of businesses respecting the principles of democratic governance and shared values.

The collective brings together a diversity of participants: individuals (retirees, students, housewives, working people) and professionals (self-employed, businesses, impact companies).

Merci Max is recognized by the State as a Solidarity Enterprise of Social Utility (ESUS), demonstrating its social commitment. In accordance with this recognition, 50% of the collective's profits are reinvested in projects linked to its social missions, particularly around intergenerational and social entrepreneurship.

Merci Max is part of an approach of actors in the social and solidarity economy, contributing to the creation of social bonds and economic activities on a local scale.
