Tatva is the annual technical fest of BNMIT which was first organized in the year 2009.
Tatva has progressed and evolved to new heights over the last five years, and is now
an eagerly awaited event not just at BNMIT but also at colleges across Bengaluru.
Tatva 2019 will be the continued endeavor towards reaching a new milestone.

An Evening with mano Murthy

-Every year BNMIT hosts a special evening full of music and celebration
for students all over Bengaluru. This year BNMIT brings to you a musical
evening with Mr. Mano Murthy, the man who brought music lovers & youth
back to the theatres with a bang through films like America! America! and
Mungaru Male.
Well known as the ‘Melody King of Sandalwood’, Mr. Mano Murthy has
stolen a place in the hearts of the youth by striking the right cord with his music.
Mr. Mano Murthy is an alumnus of UVCE, an electrical engineer turned music
director who carved a niche for himself in the music world starting with
composing music for the movie America! America! in 1995. He has produced
melodious music, including Cheluvina Chittara, Milana, Noor Janmaku,
Pancharangi and Mungaru Male. His melodious tracks from the movies
Mungaru Male and Milana made him a household name. He also composed the
music for the National award-winning movie Preethi Prema Pranaya. The
quality of music and melody in his songs make him the favourite choice of
movie producers and one of the best music directors in the Kannada Film
industry. He in fact brought about a revolution in Kannada film music and has
the distinction of invading the realm of non-Kannada film music fans.
