This book is a collaboration of members of the Infectious Diseases department and the pharmacy department at CHU Ste-Justine with the participation of colleagues in emergency medicine and general pediatrics.

APP (Antibiotic Pediatric) attempts to provide a quick response to queries prescribers about the choice of anti-infectives and their dosage in a given pediatric population. Therapeutic choices recommended in this app are primarily derived from the experience gained at the Sainte Justine since the 22 years of the infectious diseases department. They reflect our choice of treatment strategies every day based on our experience and the local epidemiology. They may not be copied and can be different different recommendations of learned societies or government agencies.

The content is presented in three main sections:
● Topics - General Information about infectious diseases
● Drugs - Dosage, main interactions ... everything you need.
● Pathogens - Learn more about the disease; bacteria, viruses, parasites, protozoa ...


Biannual updates are planned.

The doses given are those commonly used at the CHU Sainte-Justine, guided by the expertise of the pharmacist (ne) s of the pharmacy department at CHU Sainte-Justine.
