Rádio Trans Mundial (RTM) is headquartered in the capital of the state of São Paulo, and is affiliated with Trans World Radio. It opened on February 5, 1970 and its programs are distributed via satellite to various affiliated radio stations throughout Brazil. RTM is part of an independent organization maintained by a group of Brazilians, mainly German immigrants, and financed through donations.
