“Vision therapy” is a term used by optometrists. Optometrists define vision therapy as an attempt to develop or improve visual skills and abilities; improve visual comfort, ease, and efficiency; and change visual processing or interpretation of visual information.
Clinical research is proving that amblyopia (lazy eye) is treatable. Try now this process, with which each eye sees a separate image.
ٍStart Tips:
● Cover your healthy eye.
● Focus with your weak or lazy eye on the moving target.
● 1 or 2 feet distance from the screen, depending on screen size. The point of the exercise is to make your eye move around the eye socket.
● Full screen display. Try using a big monitor, or a 10'' tablet, but closer to it.
● Dark room.
● 15-20 minutes of exercises every day, twice a day, with your healthy eye covered.
Practicing the lazy eye exercises has shown significant results for:
‣ Improving visual acuity of the lazy eye
‣ Improving the binocular and stereoscopic vision
Studies were usually conducted over a period of 5 weeks, playing the exercises 1 hour a day.
This app can be used by :
‣ those with no visual problem
‣ those with functional amblyopia, resulting from anisometropia (strong difference in visual acuity between the two eyes) or an already corrected strabismus.
Lazy eye (amblyopia) is a pathology that prevents or deteriorates vision in 3D (impact on depth and distance perception). The pathology blocks in various degrees the signal sent by the amblyopic eye.
WARNING : Therefore, people with uncorrected strabismus may face a risk of double vision (diplopia) using this application. We recommend in this case to not use the application. If you have any doubt, consult an ophthalmologist.
