Algae swim toward light (positive direction) or swims away from light (negative direction).
Please change the swimming direction of algae and collect the nutrients (C, N, P, Ca2+) by turning on or off the light bulbs located at the top, bottom, left, and right of the screen.
Three C elements, two N elements, one P element, and one Ca2+ element are required to increase one cell number.
In addition to above nutrients, star and toxin are displayed on the screen.
If algae hit a star, algae reverse its swimming directions: the algae colored green swim toward light while the algae colored light blue swim away from light.
Hitting a toxin leads to algal death (Game Over).
The resultant number of cells is indicated as the game score.
