The MicroToxMap, is a socio-environmental project of citizen science dedicated to the monitoring of harmful algae blooms on the coast of Chile.
Aimed at the aquaculture industry, educational centers or other institutions of the southern coast of Chile, with interest in the marine microscopic world and in particular in the study and monitoring of harmful algae.
We distribute low-cost and easy-to-use technology to coastal communities, building a large network of citizen science that collaborates by providing real-time information.
