Asbābun Nuzūl is the science of the Qur'an which discusses the background or causes of one or several verses of the Qur'an being revealed. In general, Asbabun Nuzul makes it easy for Mufassir to find the interpretation and understanding of a verse from behind the story of the revelation of that verse.
