AKAS Infusions is a manufacturer of Infusion pumps and Syringe pumps since 1996.
This application for android (also available on windows) will monitor all AKAS pumps wirelessly. A tablet can be used in the Central Nurses station and be notified for alerts and events
* Alarms and Events raised by any pump can be seen on the Central Nurse Stations (CNS) and which bed, which drug delivering pump has raised the event can be known and based on priority can be attended.
* Changes in flow rates at the bed side if done will be notified at the CNS for double checking. So every change in flow rate will be double confirmed. No more medication errors
* Can take event history of a pump/drug to a patient
* At the time of discharge can take the drug delivery information in graphical format for all drugs delivered to the patient on pumps. Time of starting, tapering, ramping up, all on graphical or tabular view. This can be printed and filed with patient records or can be saved digitally in pdf.
* One Remote monitoring application can manage 32 beds with 160 pumps in the ICU.
