The “Obligatory Mask” application is used to notify users when they are on public roads in France where wearing a mask is compulsory. This app is not official. Its objective is to raise awareness and remind people of the need to respect the wearing of a mask. If you are a user of this application, wearing a mask is your full responsibility.

This application does not collect or save any of your data. Your location never leaves your device. Once installed, it runs locally, does not keep data even locally, and does not connect to any remote server.

It can be used throughout France once all the data concerning the streets where wearing a mask is compulsory has been obtained. The data used is based on the information communicated by the prefectures and town halls on their websites.
The list of streets will be regularly updated and in order to benefit from this data, updating the application from Google Play is strongly recommended. Any proposal for improvement or collaboration is welcome.
