Tokyo Revengers Anime is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It has been serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine since March 2017. An anime television series adaptation by Liden Films aired from April to September 2021. A second season is set to premiere in January 2023. A live-action film adaptation was released in Japan in July 2021.

As of July 2022, the manga had over 65 million copies in circulation, including 7 million copies outside of Japan. The manga won the 44th Kodansha Manga Award for the shōnen category in 2020.


Takemichi Hanagaki’s second year of middle school was the highest point in his life. He had respect, a gang of friends he could count on, and even a girlfriend. But that was twelve years ago. Today, he’s a nobody: a washed-up nonentity made fun of by children and always forced to apologize to his younger boss. A sudden news report on the Tokyo Manji Gang’s cruel murder of the only girlfriend he ever had alongside her brother only adds insult to injury. Half a second before a train ends his pitiful life for good, Takemichi flashes back to that same day twelve years ago, when he was still dating Hinata Tachibana.

Written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers started in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine on March 1, 2017.In May 2021, it was announced that the series entered its final arc. Kodansha has collected its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes. The first volume was published on May 17, 2017.As of June 17, 2022, twenty-eight volumes have been released.

On June 20, 2022, a spin-off manga centered around Keisuke Baji and Chifuyu Matsuno written and illustrated by Yukinori Kawaguchi, titled Tokyo Revengers: Baji Keisuke Kara no Tegami was announced. It will begin serialization in Weekly Shōnen Magazine on July 27, 2022.
