**Instruction Guild**
1. **Install the Scan to Excel Mobile App**
- On your iPhone, open the App Store.
- Search for **“Scan to Excel”** and tap **Get** → **Install**.
2. **Download & Install the Scan to Excel Desktop App**
- In your desktop browser, go to:

- Choose the installer for your OS (macOS 10.14+ or Windows 10+).
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. **Connect Both Devices to the Same Wi-Fi Network**
- Ensure your iPhone and your computer are on the **same local Wi-Fi**.
- Do **not** block HTTP access to `http://${computer_id}:8001` in your firewall or network settings.
4. **Start the Desktop App & Establish the Connection**
- Launch **Scan to Excel Desktop**—it will spin up a local server at `http://${computer_id}:8001`.
- On the mobile app, tap **Connect**, then scan the QR code shown in the desktop app to link the devices.
5. **Scan & Send Data**
- Using your iPhone, point the camera at the QR code or barcode you wish to capture.
- After a successful scan, tap **Send**.
- The data will be sent over Wi-Fi to the desktop server and immediately written into the Excel file.
6. **View & Manage Your Excel File**
- In **Scan to Excel Desktop**, switch to the **Sheet Management** tab.
- Double-click the Excel file name to open it and verify that all scanned entries have been added.
