Levothyroxine is a medication for hypothyroidism, which is a thyroid disease. This app was created to help calculate the adjustment of levothyroxine doses, but is not for starting doses. This app was meant for use by physicians (i.e. endocrinologists, primary care, internal medicine, family practice) and other healthcare providers (i.e. medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants) in helping them calculate more complicated levothyroxine dose adjustments.
