The Raisons story began almost four decades ago in a quaint corner of South Extension, as a brand dealing in all types of fabrics right from men's suiting shirting to ladies dress materials, laces, buttons, under the guidance and management of Mr. Naresh Gupta.

With a dream to bring the best of the crafts form all over the country in ethnic clothing under one roof for the best clientele in Delhi, Raisons has continuously endeavored to locate the best weavers, artisans & craftsmen to bring out the best designs for its customers. Raisons' fabrics are crafted especially by weavers from traditional & weaving centers of India. In 2003, Mr. Gaurav Gupta joined the business giving Raisons a new dimension, understanding the details of textiles from NIFT, Delhi. After one year of grind at Arvind Mills & then moving on to join his family textile business, two years later he launched his own label :Gaurav Rai." He introduced a line of hand-woven real zari sarees, from the best handloom weaving centers of the country.
