• Notification Listener – mute alerts & calls during a mode.
• Do Not Disturb access – apply Focus/Sleep profiles (granted only after you enable it in Android Settings).
• Usage Access — detect usage time of each application.
• Write Settings — adjust brightness or related display options when a Mode starts (granted in Android Settings).
• Post Notifications — show Mode status and display notification indicating that Accessibility Service is running.
• Internet — for updates, crash reporting, and/or ads if enabled.
• No root or system modifications; all changes use public Android APIs.

🔎 AccessibilityService Disclosure
ModeGear uses the AccessibilityService API only when you enable App Blocking inside a Mode. It listens to window/package change events to detect when selected apps appear in the foreground and then shows a local block screen according to your rules. It does not read the text on your screen, keystrokes, or passwords, does not perform taps or automate interactions, and no data leaves your device. You can turn this permission off anytime in Android Settings.
