The tourism audio guide program "E-Guide Sha Tin" developed by the Ma On Shan Community Wellbeing Promotion Association (Min Wellness Society) combines traditional cultural monuments with modern information technology. The public can take guided tours through the mobile phone application, roam around Sha Tin and Ma On Shan on bicycles, and explore the historical and cultural features. The VR technology within the program can also be used to recreate the local features of the past, allowing citizens to understand the historical features and local changes of Sha Tin.

Features of this mobile application include:



1) Guided tours of more than 50 attractions in Shatin and Ma On Shan

2) Use VR technology to recreate 7 classic features of Sha Tin in the past

3) The voice navigation provided by Brother Harry is supplemented by lively and interesting guided tours.

4) Navigation function covering Sha Tin and Ma On Shan cycle track routes

5) Interact with 6 classic AR 3D models from the past

6) Track record function to share what you see and hear during the journey to social media to share with family and friends



The "E Guide Shatin" audio guide app is a social enterprise "Anshan Teahouse" funded by the Home Affairs Department's "Partnership for Self-Reliance" community collaboration program. It was developed through daily operating profits. It aims to promote Hong Kong's local history and humanistic features, promote the development of local culture, sports, arts and creative industries, with the goal of "jointly building a cultural Bay Area, building a leisure Bay Area, and building a high-quality living area that is suitable for living, working and traveling."



Founded in 1993, the Ma'anshan Community Wellbeing Promotion Association has been committed to promoting the development of regional cultural and artistic activities and cycling sports, and taking the construction and preservation of regional characteristics as its own responsibility. "Anshan Tea House" is a social enterprise established in response to government policies and has become a good place for residents to gather. The Hong Kong Society of Hong Kong is a public charity organization with "a goal and a mission".



With funding from the "Partnership for Self-Reliance" community collaboration program, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and the Henderson Warmth Project Fund, the Hong Kong Society of Hong Kong has developed an overgrown and long-vacant wasteland in District 77 of Ma On Shan into "An Shan Cafe", aiming to provide timely catering services to the area. This move not only responds to community needs and improves the local environment, but also seizes the business opportunities derived from it, establishing a sustainable, reliable and pragmatic platform to continue to create job opportunities and achieve the goal of business, social and cultural collaboration.
