Ivan Vazov Secondary School - Pleven is the largest educational institution in the Pleven region, which has established its appearance and style of work. It is located in Central Northern Bulgaria in a city museum, which has remained in history mainly with the landmark events during the Russo-Turkish Liberation War of 1877-1878. The school as of 2011 has 1,522 students from preschool to twelfth grade. The training is organized in 63 classes with general and specialized training - informatics, information technology, biology, literature, history. All accounts have enhanced English language learning. Language training offers students the choice of English, German, French and Russian. The school has a multimedia hall "Europe", a library with Internet access, a modern football field, six IT rooms, two of which have state-of-the-art equipment.

The school employs 112 teachers, most of them with a qualification. The average age of the teaching staff is 43 years. Recent statistics show that every year the school grows - more and more students want to study with us. First graders more than we can accept. Students and teachers work on international projects, publish their own newspaper, study in schools of mathematics, computer science, sport in the school teams of volleyball, basketball, football, athletics.
