In the science of Qiraah, tajwid means removing letters from their places by giving them their properties.

Tajwid science is a science that studies how to sound or pronounce the letters contained in the holy Qur'an or not.

In the science of recitation itself there are approximately 15 laws of reading, or what is also called 15 laws of recitation.

The 15 laws of recitation include the law of reading nun breadfruit and tanwin, mim breadfruit, mad, idgham, to qalqalah

The laws of nun die and tanwin consist of five, namely izhar, idgham bigunnah, idgham bilagunnah, iqlab, and ikhfa.

These five nun mati and tanwin laws have different ways of reading and letters. Every Muslim must understand it.
