Dreams are subconscious experiences involving sight, hearing, thoughts, feelings, or senses in sleep.
Ibnul Qayyim RA once said about the nature of dreams: "Dreams are examples made by angels assigned by Allah SWT to deal with dream matters so that the person who dreams can take clues from the examples that have been described to him and reveal what is unclear to him."
Dream interpretation is one of the most difficult disciplines to learn when compared to other sciences.
“There are three dreams. Good dreams are good news from Allah, dreams are due to a person's thoughts (when awake), and sad dreams come from Satan. If you dream of something you don't like, don't tell anyone, stand up and pray!" (HR Muslim).
Based on the hadith above, it can be understood that not all dreams experienced by someone can be used as guidance, because there is a possibility that the dreams experienced do not come from Allah's guidance, but because of the whispers of Satan or because someone is busy thinking about a certain object until that object is carried away in their dreams.
