This routine is more focused on beginners, not because it is less or harder than other routines, but it is because it follows a linear progression, and once you handle certain weights it is impossible to continue adding kilos to the bar on a weekly basis (we already would you like not?)
Whatever our goal, be it strength or aesthetics (I will talk about aesthetic-oriented routines in other articles), we need to build a solid foundation in terms of strength, and with this routine we will achieve it. This is why I just said 5 × 5 is one of the most recommended routines for beginners.
