The North East Music Awards (NEMA) is organized by reputable multimedia firm, A-square Multimedia in collaboration with the North East Entertainment Union. The maiden edition of the prestigious awards scheme was organized last year with the 2019 music year as the year under review. This year's will be the second edition. Artistes from all over the region filed for nominations and the board members painstakingly went through them and finally settled on some deserving artistes and nominated them in the various categories.
