This application demonstrates the ability to use MULTOS contactless technology to securely manage retailer gift cards on an Android device. It includes the capability of upgrading an existing MULTOS contactless product in any form-factor such as card, fob, wristband, sticker, etc, and can interact with an NFC enabled Android phone.

The wallet app stores front and rear images of the card, with the rear image being encrypted and decrypted by a dedicated application that is executed on the MULTOS card/device.

By using your trusted MULTOS banking (or other) card to securely store the cryptographic keys used and perform the encryption required you can be sure that the gift card information on your phone is safe.

To present a gift card in store you simply select it from the mobile wallet app, tap your MULTOS card on your phone when prompted, to unlock the digital gift card on your phone, and show the decrypted image of the gift card to the store clerk.

Adding gift cards to the wallet is easy. Just take two photos using the app and tap your MULTOS card to encrypt when prompted. Each gift card is encrypted with a different key for extra protection.
