Welcome to the STADTSCHWÄRMER audio walk and our tour through JENAS GREEN PLACES. On this tour you will experience beautiful nature, hidden spots, fresh air and wonderful peace, accompanied by exciting stories that you will encounter on this hiking trail.

Children and young people from Jena and the surrounding area explored and researched this tour in workshops lasting several weeks and put together 12 listening stations for you. The two friends Johann and Lena accompany you on the round and show you their favorite places in the countryside. You will meet historians and artists, botanists and mountain rangers, poets and thinkers, legends and sagas. In short: you will learn everything about the special features of Jena's green places. What legends are associated with the enigmatic name Fuchsturm? What is the Sibylle in Winzerla all about? And why was the Friedenberg once called Galgenberg?
