One of the main beliefs of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah is to believe in the existence of Heaven (Al Jannah) and Hell (An Naar). One of them is based on the word of Allah Ta'ala (which means), "Preserve yourself from hell whose fuel is man and stone, provided for unbelievers. And convey good tidings to those who believe and do good, that for them are provided paradise with rivers flowing in them.

To believe in heaven and hell means to justify with certainty the existence of both, and to believe that they are creatures that are conserved by God, will not be extinct and will not perish, put into heaven all forms of pleasure and into hell all forms of torture. It also believes that heaven and hell have been created and that both are now prepared by Allah Ta'ala.
