BURO Bangladesh is the largest national level microfinance institution in the country providing financial and other services to about 2 million members in rural and urban areas. At present the organization is working on a large scale through 1082 branches in 64 districts and 462 upazilas of the country. The organization is working in partnership with various international partners to provide services to poor and marginalized people in sanitation, health, basic health education, financial inclusion, and telemedicine. Basic health education programs have been implemented since 2019 with the support of Opportunity International Australia and Australian Aid. In the pilot phase of the project, basic health education has been provided to 2,02,209 families and basic health education and primary health care services are being provided to 110,000 families which is planned to be implemented on a wider scale across the country in future.

This Android app has been developed with the technical support of the organization M-World, with the aim of making the basic health education program more understandable and easy to visualize through text, pictures, audio-video content and reach out to the wider population of the country.
