The official control application GE-VALVE for Android smartphones enable an easy interface to monitor and setup of the new CVP-BT proportional electrovalve controller developed by Galielo Engineering.

Features:
Control parameters settings (“Settings” window):

1 – Full Current [mA]:
Maximum supplied current. Insert a steady-state target current between 0-2600 mA. Confirm with “SET” button.
2 – Offset Current [mA]:
Minimum supplied current. Insert a minimum current (Offset) between 0-1000 mA. Confirm with “SET” button.
3 – Current Ramp Up [mA]:
Growth rate of current. Insert a Ramp Up value between 10 mA/sec – 40 A/sec.. Confirm with “SET” button.
4 – Current Ramp Down [mA]:
Decrease rate of current. Insert a Ramp Down value between 10 mA/sec – 40 A/sec.. Confirm with “SET” button.
5 – Dither [%]:
Oscillation around steady-state current value. Insert the Dither current percentage with values between 0 and 20% of the nominal current on E.V. (fixed frequency 125 Hz). Confirm with “SET” button.
NOTE: every time the “SET” button is pressed, a string in the dialogue box is shown, detailing the action that was performed. Take the time to read it to make sure that the values displayed in the dialogue box are matching the input ones.

Auxiliary commands:
1 – READ ALL:
Updates and confirms all inserted values on screen.
2 – REQUEST ACCESS:
In case the device is not connected, this command allows access through password identification.
3 – CHANGE NAME:
Changes the name of the device.
4 – Command Prompt (“Write a command here”):
Allows execution of orders or a help request. To obtain a list of useful commands type: “help” and confirm.
5 – Trash bin:
Deletes the contents of the dialogue window.

Control parameters settings (“Modes” window):
1 – Reference [V]:
Allows to select the reference voltage interval, for the controller or potentiometer, between the following values: 0-5 V (mode 1), 0-10 V (mode 2), 5-0 V (Mode 3, dual), 5-10V (Mode 4, dual). Modes 3 and 4 allow the control through a Joystick with central zero.
2 – Zero Offset Until [%] :
Allows to select a percentage (0-5%) of the maximum current below which the Offset is zero. Over the selected percentage, the Offset is equal to the one defined in the “Settings” page.
