The FENCE mobile application was designed to offer access to all interested citizens to learn
information about the FENCE project, its aim, objectives, and deliverables. Also, the app is suitable
for anyone interested in gender equality and best practices on how to eliminate gender stereotypes
and discrimination. Through the mobile application, users will be able to enter the content of the
FENCE website and read about the project, the partnership and find all the final outputs of the
project. The mobile application offers a virtual learning environment equipped with the FENCE
curriculum that was developed by the project partners, who used it to design training modules that
can be used for trainers to train people around the subject of gender equality. The training material
is divided into 7 modules with different topics and the first one offering a general overview of the
next modules. The training material is also available through the project’s website, when entering
the FENCE e-learning platform. By the completion of the modules, users receive a certificate of
participation. The mobile application can also be used to communicate with other users and share
thoughts on the subject.
