Near the sea in Dongchang, Ji'an, kindhearted people built a temple to worship in the 41st year of the Republic of China. There are Ksitigarbha Hall and Linggu Pagoda built at the back of the park, which provide services for spiritual sustenance and worship.


The main god, Chen Shenggong, joined the army during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty and played an important role in the development of Hualien. After his death, he was originally buried near the sea in Dongchang, Ji'an. In the 41st year of the Republic of China, kindhearted people built a temple to worship him.
