This application intends to locate and count various orchid populations from their natural habitats.

The application has been developed to help conserve various orchid populations. At present, the work is being executed with the participation of forest officials in various Protected Areas, under the monitoring of Naresh Swami and Samiran Patgiri, both National Geographic Explorers.

The application and other related field work are funded by the National Geographic Society as part of its Explorer Community Project Funds 2022 (Project funding number FR-186615).
