With the Adarna app and Alon transceiver, you can stay connected with family, friends, or other fishermen wherever you are. Whether your boat is near the coast or out in the open ocean, your messages can be relayed through the Alon transceiver to others with Alon devices or directly to any phone number.
Family, friends, and shore contacts can use the Adarna app with a cellular or WiFi connection to communicate with you on your boat. In case of an emergency, the fisherman’s Alon transceiver can send SOS and capsize alerts, which are routed by our servers to a designated contact list on shore via text, phone call, or directly to the Adarna app.
The Adarna app connects to the Alon transceiver on your boat via Bluetooth® to send and receive messages to other Alon devices or phone numbers. Regardless of where you are fishing on the ocean, the Alon can transmit messages worldwide via the Iridium® satellite network. If another boat equipped with an Alon is nearby, messages can be exchanged through Bluetooth® Long Range; otherwise, they are sent via the satellite network for global reach.
For added safety, the Adarna app features a hotline function to send alerts directly to local authorities in case of distress, illegal fishing, or other incidents at sea.
The Alon transceiver is essential for Adarna to connect with other Alon devices in range or globally through the Iridium® satellite network, as well as to send and receive messages to phones with the Adarna app. Note that only text messages are supported; pictures, videos, and other media are not transmitted.
