The ultimate aim of all Avant Garde film makers or Independent film makers is to get their films released on some platforms, may it be theatres, film festivals or any digital media for people to watch and appreciate their piece of art, the cinema. Big commercial theatrical networks and multinational ott platforms never gave chances for the release of these kinds of non commercial films through their platforms. my Ott is an open ott platform for such marginalized low budget commercial cinema, parallel cinema, art & experimental films and documentary films made in Kerala state of India and in Malayalam language.
Each person using this App has to first register with his name and mobile phone number to avoid the misuse of the app and has to login each time he uses this app. All the films except short documentaries, released through this platform needs to be censored by the Central Board of Film Certification, India.
