Dr. Komal Kumar has more than 18 years of experience in clinical neurology. His areas of interest include stroke & Cerebrovascular disease, deep brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. He is one of the pioneers of Thrombolysis in acute stroke patients. He was instrumental in setting up stroke care on wheels, a mobile stroke service unit which is aimed at reducing the delay between stroke onset and treatment time. Over the years he treated many complex cases of stroke and cerebrovascular diseases.
