The Likha Application, developed by the Bureau of Learning Resources – Quality Assurance Division (BLR-QAD), is an innovative mobile learning platform for Kindergarten to Grade 3 learners in public schools. Available for tablets and smartphones, it can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and operates both online and offline, ensuring continuous learning anytime, anywhere.

Interactive Storybooks – Explore narrated, interactive storybooks featuring DepEd Storybook Writing Competition winners and collaborations with USAID. These inclusive stories highlight diverse characters and accessibility options for all learners.
Self-Learning Modules (SLMs) – Access offline-friendly learning materials aligned with the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs), enhanced with tap-to-zoom functionality.
Multimedia Resources – Watch DepEd TV, an educational program derived from SLMs, and explore the Reading Treasury, a collection of narrated storybooks available via YouTube.
Gamified Activities – Reinforce learning through interactive, grade-specific games adapted from SLMs, making education both engaging and effective.

Development & Continuous Improvement
The BLR is committed to enhancing the Likha Application by integrating redesigned storybooks, modules, videos, and interactive resources. Beta testing began in December 2022, followed by a region-wide trial in April 2024. The official launch is set for 2025, ensuring seamless functionality and accessibility.
