Ganesh ji, also known as Ganapati, is a deity in Indian mythology. Ganesha, son of Shiva-Parvati and husband of Bachhrati, Riddhi and Sidhi. It is also called Vinayaka or Vinayakagar of Tamil, Vinayaku of Telugu. He is depicted as a deity in red or yellow with a thick belly, with an elephant's head with four arms and a tusk ride, or with a rat.
