The Nordiska museet is Sweden's largest cultural history museum where you can explore people and life in the Nordics through real stories, objects and environments. Join us on a tour and discover our history and our building at Djurgården.

The museum was already founded in 1873 by Artur Hazelius. The huge building on Djurgården, which is an attraction in itself, was designed in the Renaissance style by Isak Gustaf Clason and was inaugurated in 1907.
