The GS5 Terminal mobile application is intended for employees who carry out inventories at stores using hand-held terminals (or telephones).
The application is used to quickly view individual GS5 Store application items at a given store.
The application can search for goods using:
• Scanning a sales number or internal code
• Search based on specified search restrictions
The application displays the following data for the searched goods - current price, current stock, volume of today's sale, last stock movement, reserved quantity, internal code, external code, sales number, package size, assortment, sales group, sales subgroup, note, or information about the current sales event of which the goods are a part.
The main benefit of the application is its use in inventories. Using the application, it is possible to acquire a document for a full or partial inventory by a quick scan followed by a quantity entry.
Actions that are enabled for a given inventory:
• Inventory document registration - acquisition of an inventory document by cyclical search of goods with subsequent quantity registration.
• Inventory list - display of the list of goods, which is the content of all storage documents of the inventory.
• Overview of inventory documents - display of a list of all storage documents of the given inventory.
• Overview of inventory differences - display of the list of goods, which are the content of all removal and storage documents of the given inventory, and an inventory difference is calculated for each item.
The application significantly speeds up and clarifies the inventory process in stores equipped with the GS5 Store system.
