The app Mahila Udhyami "Women Entrepreneurs" is developed under Empowering Women Engendering Energy Nepal Programme co-supported by ADB TA 9334-NEP: Strengthening the Capacity of the Energy Sector to Deliver Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Results project.

The key objective of this app development is to share information, stories and updates of the project using app technology to the national/ local stakeholders of the project. Nowadays the use of mobiles is rampant even in the rural areas, therefore the mobile app can be a more effective way to disseminate information as well as follow up with the women's periodic development, encourage them to report using photographs or statements of the moment. The success stories of Women Entrepreneurs (WEs), empowerment journeys of WEs will be kept in the app which will motivate WEs and other women to start an enterprise. The app will also provide the information which will be helpful to Women's to start an enterprise, take the loan and connect with the market.
