Taiwan ENC integrates global positioning technology to bring nautical charts and related information into mobile devices. Chart data can be downloaded in advance when network coverage is available and used offline. This not only resolves the risks of relying solely on captains’ experience or unofficial navigation charts, but also meets the reference chart needs of domestic small vessels, fishing boats, and yachts.
