The INTERGROWTH-21st app allows healthcare providers and individuals alike to plot and assesses size at birth for newborns, and follows the postnatal growth of preterms infants from birth until 64 weeks post-menstrual age (at which point the use of the WHO child Growth standards is recommended.
The INTERGROWTH-21st standards develop scientifically robust clinical tools to assess fetal growth and the nutritional status of newborn infants, as adjuncts to the WHO charts for children ages 0 to 5 years old. These are now being incorporated into the national and international maternal and neonatal programs.
