The OncoCase app supports patients in planning and implementing their oncological treatment. Access to the app can be granted through centers and practices using the OncoCase clinical documentation platform; Alternatively, patients can register themselves, but then have a limited range of functions. Messages from the treating center can only be received if access is via the treating practice.
The app offers various information: the structured provision of information on selected cancers, an appointment planner, a therapy planner as well as structured surveys on quality of life, symptoms and side effects. Appointment planners and therapy planners offer a reminder function. Based on the data entered and on the basis of general health data stored via the phone, patients are also given the opportunity to create a structured medical report for each upcoming doctor's visit.
