Rejoyn is a treatment for adults with depressive disorder episodes, commonly known as depression, delivered through an app.
Intended to be used alongside usual care provided by a healthcare professional, Rejoyn provides 6 weeks of brain-training exercises and therapeutic lessons. Unlike wellness apps, Rejoyn is UKCA marked as medical device software after being studied in a phase 3 clinical trial and requires a referral from your doctor or therapist. Rejoyn is intended for use in Great Britain.
The patented brain exercises in Rejoyn were developed and studied by a team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and neuroscientists. The exercises tap into the science of neuroplasticity, the brain’s natural ability to change, and are designed to activate the thinking and feeling parts of the brain at the same time. This helps to strengthen the connection between them so they’re able to communicate better. This may help the brain process emotions, improving depressive disorder symptoms. Think of it like physiotherapy for your brain. With regular practice, doing targeted brain-training exercises can help improve depressive symptoms.
