This application determines the structural integrity of underground excavations using the Norwegian Q System. It also determines the Rock Mass Rating and Geotechnical Strength Index using correlations equations. Reasonable predictions of possible hazards that might be encounter are also generated.

Version 2.0 of quick rocks_ now includes statistical inference in the form of an ANOVA test at 1% and 5% level of significance. This allows the user to determine if there are significant differences in the geological parameters of rock mass samples. Accompanying this feature is a radar chart which allows the user to superimpose multiple database entries on the same graph in order to visually discern the differences in the same geological parameters of selected database entries.
