The Birmingham Digital Immediate Response Card is a tool for empowering residents to overcome temporary crises along a long-term path to financial mobility.
Cards are funded solely by the City of Birmingham, to be used for program-specific purchases. The City of Birmingham has the right to restrict and/or reclaim funds loaded on the card subject to specific program rules.

Residents can use the app to view account deposits & transactions and get real-time text notifications of each purchase. Text message and data rates may apply.
App profiles are protected with multifactor authentication. Each account has Mastercard ID Theft Protection™ and Mastercard Zero Liability Protection1 for unauthorized purchases, and secure contactless card payment at in-person points of sale.

The Birmingham MoCaFi Digital Immediate Response Incentive Mastercard is issued by Sunrise Banks N.A., Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Mastercard International Incorporated.
