Learn to recognize the songs and cries of common birds in mainland France!
Everywhere, birds occupy the sound space. Call and song recognition provides an efficient and accurate method of bird identification. Once we begin to recognize these winged inhabitants, walks in town or in the countryside take on another dimension: we access a universe that was hitherto unknown to us!
The aim of this game is to train you to identify birds by their songs and cries.
A part is made up of several sounds that are offered to you. For each sound, you must identify the bird in question. At the end of the game, the scoreboard allows you to listen to the sounds again and consult the bird files.
Each bird sheet contains the sounds you have unlocked as well as a photo and, sometimes, an audio description. These data are also accessible from the bird catalog (with reference to Olivier Messiaen).
When you answer more than 36 questions out of 40 correctly, you can access the next level which will offer you increasingly complex sounds.
Several parameters can be adjusted: the number of questions per part, the type of answer per question (MCQ or free mode), the number of propositions (in MCQ mode), etc.
