Tahajud prayer is a sunnah prayer that is done at night and is performed after a short nap. Allah SWT said in QS. Al-Israa 'verse 79:

And on some evenings pray your tahajud as an additional worship for you: may your Lord lift you to a place that is praiseworthy. (Surah Al-Israa ': 79)
