E-IDV is an identity verification service that uses the latest biometric matching technology.

Using a standard smart phone and government issued photo ID documents (including eChip enabled passports), E-IDV can perform a 3-way cross match of: passport photo, eChip photo (where present) and verified ‘live’ user images.

E-IDV can also capture security information from ID documents and upload other documents such as proofs of address.

Conveyancers can now use E-IDV to meet the ‘Digital ID Standard’ announced recently by HM Land Registry and achieve the desired ‘Safe Harbour’.

E-IDV is available via our secure website, and secure API. The process can be initiated in a matter of seconds, after which, subjects are invited to download the E-IDV app (iOS or Android) which guides them through the data capture process.

A detailed biometric report is returned seconds after the capture process completes.
