Osceola Electric Cooperative recently announced the release of the company’s phone app called Mobile Customer Access (MCA). This phone application provides the customer the ability to access their account 24 hours a day, seven days per week, 365 days per year.
Utility customers may view balance information, make a payment, view statements and payment history for all accounts with one username. Usage history graphs show billed usage and may include metered usage. Contact information for the utility is displayed. There are many additional enhancements that are optional such as ability to sign up for notifications, view notification history, report outages, view the utility outage map (if available), payment arrangement balances, programs they are enrolled in, and view a message from the utility as they log into the app. The customer may even log into the application with a touch of their finger or facial recognition by setting up biometric login.
